Infinity Wave by gokenji Infinity Wave by gokenji
This was shot with a slow shutter speed and flash during the sunrise. I didn't photoshop or alter it. It's extremely difficult to capture a wave during movement in this way, but with the correct settings and flash it is possible.

If you're interested in purchasing any of my wave images, please check out my kickstarter project that is ending very soon. This piece is available in very large print as a reward to the project.

The colours are absolutely amazing! How do you take these pictures without getting your camera all wet? I have looked through your website and it's very fascinating!

Hi Maya, I actually use a Canon 50D with a fisheye and an SPL Waterhousing. So I'm actually in the water getting the photos. The housing protects my camera, although in the last 3 years my housing has leaked (because I didn't tighten them evenly) and ruined 3 cameras, very costly I may add and insurance does not cover water damage.

Anyways, you can watch how I shoot the waves here: www.gokenji.com/kickstarter

Thanks for the compliment
