Colorful Morning in the water by gokenji Colorful Morning in the water by gokenji
A very saturated morning during a sunrise session I had a couple months ago. The only reason why I shoot in the mornings is to get these natural saturated colors. Too many photographers photoshop their work, to me that's cheating. I prefer the real way.

You can purchase this and many other photos on my project that will be ending soon. Please take a look:

Photoshop helps the mind wander and create imagination, but photos that are not photoshoped help to show the true beauty that nature posses. Either way I'm happy. Love this shot.

I feel the same way about Photoshopping work (despite the fact that I still do it) - it does feel a lot like cheating.

Awesome photo, the colours are beautiful! :D

Wonderful photographs! I wish I lived on a beach, the ocean is one of my favorite places to be! I agree with your sentiments on photoshop, it is cheating! But unfortunately, its a necessary evil, as I have to use it to convert photos into BW, and to also add my signature. I wish I could just program my camera to automatically imprint my sig onto the photo when I take it, then my pictures would truly be straight from camera!
Love your wave photos! I look forward to seeing more of your work!

Thanks, I definitely use software to adjust exposure, contrast, adding watermarks, etc... I just think when people manipulate colors and distort the photo so much that's it's no where near the original, then that's "digital art" not "photography". That's just my opinion though... Anyone can go into the water during the day and shoot a wave shot (well not anyone) and then manipulate it colors so much to look fake, that's my only beef.

Otherwise, I respect everyone's art. Thanks for the compliment too :-)

This is sick gokenji. It's like the sea is alive in some way. I love the natural color saturation as well. Would you mind if I reposted it on my blog?
